EV016 WICKED CRAFTS No Cure EP C26 (Split release w/ Campaign For Infinity)
red cassettes
Haunting and hollow music — equal parts nightmare-jangle pop and manic post-punk screech. Born and raised in Hong Kong, but now residing in Montreal QC Canada, Shawn Tony Hui imbues his music with the claustrophobic atmosphere of his hometown. Drum machines pound out a relentless militant backbeat, while treated guitars hover and hiss menacingly. Combining found sounds, pre-programmed electronic drum beats and soft-synths with live guitar and bass, its a sound that is as firmly rooted in the lineage of british guitar music — as it is futuristic and cold. Featuring members of Rape Faction. - Electric Voice sound & format.

Track Name: Jacqueline's Distress
All the guilt and all the sins,
everything all pent up in here,
all collapsed in my dreams.

There's something that I can't hide,
something that I can't deny,
I wish I could reconcile.

A silhouette wanders in the dark,
waiting to be found,
but no one seems to be around.

Would you hear me?
Would you remember me
when it all falls down?

Forgive me.
